Virginia Episcopal School is a private boarding school located in Lynchburg, Virginia.

The 160-acre campus is contiguous to the James River along the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. VES admits a diverse group of students in grades 9 through 12.

To be considered for admission, students applying in the 9th and 10th grade must take the SSAT, while 11th and 12th grades students can submit a PSAT, SAT, or ACT score instead of the SSAT. Letters of recommendation are required from current English and math teachers, as well as transcripts.

Virginia Episcopal School offers a wide range of sports teams and student clubs. The curriculum provides more than 65 courses, including honors tracks and 17 advanced placement courses.
