Lyndon Institute was founded in 1867 and is the traditional New England Academy. The students who enroll here are from all over the United States and from around the world. The goal of the school is to raise academic standings through preparation for school, careers and life.

Students are subjected to world class programs that range from arts to science to the world class athletic teams in a traditional village setting.

The school offers a list of core values from respect to responsibility. They teach that you should exercise kindness and compassion for those around you.

It teaches that you should be productive and positive in all that you do. It teaches that students and adults will make mistakes but you should learn from the mistakes that you made.
