Texas Academy of Math & Science
This co-ed academy serves grades 11-12 with roughly 380 students. Admission is competitive and only 200 are accepted each year.
Students enter the academy immediately following their sophomore year of high school where they start full-time college studies. Upon graduating, students earn their diploma plus their credits are transferable.
The school follows a rigorous curriculum requiring all students to obtain a 3.0 GPA in order to graduate.
Students have the opportunity to work with university professors in different aspects of their studies. Many opportunities are available as well as various summer programs.
The academy pays for all tuition related expenses. Students are only responsible for room and board.
