The Hockday School is a large all-girls boarding school in Texas. They are a large school of over 1000 students, boasting 88 acre grounds. It was founded in 1913. Despite the size of the school, the average class is made up of about fourteen students.

They currently have twenty-one advanced courses on offer for academically capable girls. They offer a wide range of sports for girls to take part in. The Village School is a large co-ed non-denominational boarding school in Texas. It was founded in 1966 and its twenty acre grounds are currently home to 1200 students. The average class size at the school is sixteen and students are required to wear formal clothing. They offer capable students 27 IB courses, including IB History, IB Chinese and IB Chemistry. They play ten sports at the school which are: Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis, Track and Field and Volleyball. They also host a variety of different organisations, including Amnesty International.

The Military Experience

The Marine Military Academy is an all-boys military boarding school in Texas. It is a non-denominational which was founded in 1965. The 142 acre campus is currently home to around 270 students. The average class size at the academy is eleven and pupils are required to wear a formal uniform. They offer six advanced courses for capable boys as well as eighteen competitive sports to keep the boys busy. They also offer a variety of extra-curricular activities including the Boy Scouts and the National Honours Society. They also have a variety of development courses on the campus, including a climbing wall and a paintball course.
