Memphis University School is located at 6191 Park Avenue in East Memphis. This private school was originally founded in 1893, but was closed in 1963 because of the Great Depression. The school reopened again, and became fully functional in 1955.
The school is now 94 acres of wooded property in East Memphis and services more than 650 students.
This prestigious all boys school school is known for its academics. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools as well as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The cost of joining the Owls is $19,000 per year.
