The Arizona Department of Education boasts an Academic Standards team dedicated to managing learning standards for boarding school students in Arizona, spanning from K-12. While districts and boarding schools have the discretion to set their own graduation credit criteria in addition to the statewide standards, the minimum course of study mandated at the state level necessitates that boarding school students complete a minimum of 22 credits.
