Saint Bede Academy is a Catholic day and boarding school that serves students in grades 9-12. Located in Peru, Illinois, Saint Bede Academy sits on 700 park-like acres 100 miles southwest of Chicago. Saint Bede Academy has been providing a quality Catholic education in the Benedictine tradition since 1890. Our goal is to provide students with an education that will not only develop their minds, but also strengthen their character while preparing them for life’s challenges.
With an average student population of 300, our diverse student body of both local day students and domestic & international boarders leave Saint Bede with a lifelong commitment to learning. Through our tri-level academic program, all students are continually challenged to extend their skills and perform to the best of their abilities. Since 2014, 98% of our graduates continue on to some type of post-secondary education and an amazing 97% of students participate in some form of extra-curricular activity.
The family-like atmosphere at Saint Bede Academy means students always feel like they are at home whether they are current students or alumni coming back for Homecoming festivities, sporting events or just to visit and reminisce.
