New Leaf Academy is a private therapeutic boarding school catering to girls with various social, developmental and academic needs. Founded in 1997, it is located in Bend, Oregon, serving ages 10-15. It is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited schools.

Students attend the school for an average of 12-18 months. The licensed staff develops an individuated treatment plan that uses cognitive behavioral and art therapy. Students meet weekly with their counselors to monitor progress. All students participate in the academy’s eight week equine program. Equine therapy is a proven method in which participants learn trust, confidence and stress reduction.

Tuition rates are based on various factors such as individual needs and length of stay. There is assistance for qualifying families.
