Holderness School, located in Holderness, NH is a prep school for both boys and girls that currently holds classes for grades 9-12. Though it is not strictly affiliated with one particular religious organization, it does have strong ties to the Episcopal Diocese of NH.
The school welcomes students of all faiths and religious backgrounds.
Established in 1879, the school is well known for beautiful landscaping and outdoor scenery, including lush forests that surround the campus, access to the Pemigewasset River, and a very nice view of the town it overlooks, Pymouth.
A couple of the more notable alumni is that of Charles Bass, a former U.S. Representative for New Hampshire, and Olin Browne, a famous professional golfer who won several national golf tours from 1991 through 2005.
