Shattuck-Saint Mary’s, located in Faribault, Minnesota, is a co-ed private boarding school with affiliations to the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America. It currently serves students in grades 6 through 12.
Established in 1858, this school is one of the oldest co-educational private schools in the southern region of Minnesota, and is well known for their outstanding athletics department. Sports teams include Hockey, Soccer, Lacrosse, Tennis, Fencing, Baseball, Golf, and Basketball. All teams are represented by the same mascot, the Sabre.
Some of the more notable alumni that have attended Shattuck-Saint Mary’s are, the famous actor Marlon Brandon, ice hockey forward for the Tampa Bay Lighting Ryan Malone, and the former US senator William Burnett Benton who also published the Encyclopedia Britannica from 1943 through 1973.
