St. John’s Preparatory School is a Catholic / Benedictine co-educational day and boarding school located in Collegeville, MN.

Founded in 1857 by the monks of St. John’s Abbey, it is the oldest secondary school in Minnesota. Grades 6-12 are offered. Boarding starts in 9th grade.

Academically, it has been named an International Baccalaureate World School. It is affiliated and shares a campus with St. John’s University.

Students take one college class per semester. St. John’s is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Tuition for boarding students costs $33,870 and includes room, board and extracurricular activities. For day students, tuition costs $14,995 and includes all extracurricular activities. Financial aid is available through need-based and merit based scholarships.
