Cotter High School is located in Winona, Minnesota. The campus is ran and operated as a boarding school and a preparatory school. It is the only Roman Catholic high school in Winona. It opened in 1911 as a school for boys. Later it became coed.

The school educates students from grade 9-12. The staff of Cotter High School give students a sense of family and well-being. Their main focus is on teaching students the core values of education. They devote each and every day to teaching their students and prepare them for their future. They offer smaller classrooms so that students will have more one on one time with their teachers.
