Northfield Mount Herman is a secular coeducational boarding and day school that was founded in 1879.
The lovely wooded campus is in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. Northfield Mount Herman offers grades 9-12 and a post graduate year.
The student population is 650. A unique feature of the school is the manual labor requirement. All students are expected to help in the dining hall, on the campus farm, in the library and in computer labs.
