La Lumiere School
La Lumiere School is a college prep high school located in northwest Indiana approximately 25 miles west of South Bend and 60 miles east of Chicago. It is a coeducational boarding and day school that was founded over fifty years ago with a strong Catholic background.
With principles of character, scholarship and faith instilled in the students, the school prepares them for opportunities and responsibilities they will face as adults. Critical thinking, articulation, confidence and morals are at the core of La Lumiere’s mission.
The school has a current enrollment of 200 students. La Lumiere School has the accreditation of ISACS and NCA.
It is also a member of the Catholic Boarding Schools Association, the NAIS, and the MWBSA. La Lumiere also has an active athletic department with baseball, golf, tennis, and track. The Lakers also have award winning Art, Drama and Science Departments.
