The all girl’s school was founded in 1858 in Chicago and moved to Lake Forest, Illinois in 1904. The academy is a private Catholic school offering high school education to day students and boarders.

Students can find tuition assistance through a variety of payment plans.

Woodlands Academy charges $24,500 per year for day students and $45,400 per year for boarding students. There are additional charges for the Learning Program and the ESL Program.

The school offers a career oriented curriculum and is known for 100% college acceptance of its graduates.

The athletic program includes a wide variety of athletic challenge for all Woodlands Wildcats including swimming, field hockey, tennis, volleyball and basketball.

In addition to the academics and athletics, the academy offers spiritual growth, has opportunities for leadership and student government, and offers clubs and organizations as well as social events.
