The Illinois Math & Science Academy is a top public high school located in Aurora, Illinois, just 45 miles away from Chicago.

The school is co-ed and has seven residence halls on its property. A student must currently be enrolled in an Illinois school to be eligible for IMSA.

Students interested must be accepted into the school before they start the tenth grade.

They are also required to begin their IMSA education in the tenth grade. It is a great academy for those with a keen interest in mathematics and science.

There is no tuition charge to attend the school. The costs for books, room and board and many other expenses are all covered. With that said, there is an annual fee that is based on a sliding scale of a families income. Fee waivers are available for those who qualify.
