Lake Forest Academy: The Lake Forest Academy is located in Lake Forest and is 30 miles outside of Chicago. Founded in 1857 it is a co-ed school that services 390 students. It is located on 150 acres of woods and the head of the school is friendly and engages every student and staff member at the beginning of the year with a handshake. There are plenty of academic opportunities at the school but there are also a total of 23 varsity sports offered. Students belong to different houses where the engage in friendly competition throughout the year with a winner announced at the end of the year. The school has 100% enrollment of graduation seniors.
