Hawaii Preparatory Academy is an independent coeducational school for students grades K-12.

This academy has two campus in the town of Waimea, Hawaii. Younger students attend the day program but a boarding program is available for grades 8-12.

This academy offers a challenging and enriching curriculum. Students learn problem solving, inquiry, oral and written communication, and research skills in all subject matter. Hawaii Preparatory Academy offers unique classes in marine science, visual and performing arts, sea turtle research, and scuba diving. Their staff is dedicated to help all students reach their potential.

Hawaii Preparatory Academy is the first school in the world to have an Energy Lab classroom. This lab features indoor and outdoor classrooms. The lab itself is a model of sustainable buildings. In this lab, students research renewable energy alternatives and develop sustainable living practices.
