Hawaii Preparatory Academy is an independent coeducational school for students grades K-12.
This academy has two campus in the town of Waimea, Hawaii. Younger students attend the day program but a boarding program is available for grades 8-12.

Hawaii Preparatory Academy offers unique classes in marine science, visual and performing arts, sea turtle research, and scuba diving. Hawaii Preparatory Academy is the first school in the world to have an Energy Lab classroom. This lab features indoor and outdoor classrooms. The lab itself is a model of sustainable buildings. In this lab, students research renewable energy alternatives and develop sustainable living practices.
