Hawaii Preparatory Academy is an independent coeducational school for students grades K-12. This academy has two campus in the town of Waimea, Hawaii. Hawaii Preparatory School: As state before this is one of only two schools that meet the criteria of being a preparatory school. The school is located in Kamuela and services grades k-12. Is located on the island of Hawai’i and was named as one of the best places in the world to live by National Geographic. Students are required to spend 2-hours a day doing some sort of sporting activity. There are a number of sporting activities available outside the normal fair of baseball, softball, football, basketball and more. Offers scuba, swimming, diving and water polo for sports. Students get the chance to work on sea turtle research. Home of the world renown energy lab and also offers summer programs. Enrollment size is 600 students.

Maui Preparatory School: Located in Maui the second biggest island in Hawaii and one of the most well known. Students can study atop a dormant volcano, can go scuba diving to study the coral reefs, learn about humpback whales and learn about harnessing energy from nature. There are many opportunities at this school and it services a broad age group. School offers classes for students k-12 with enrollment numbers of 200 students. This is a great school for your child to experience the wonderment and beauty of Hawaii.
