Darlington School: Located in Rome and founded in the 1950s. Offer outdoor learning experiences for environmental science courses. It also has a music conservatory for students. Three dorm buildings each for boys and girls managed by full-time head of house.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School: The school is located in Rabun Gap and was founded in 1903. Fully accredited and serves students 5-12 grades. Offer dance program for students and has a 27-acre athletic complex.

Riverside Military Academy: Located in Gainesville and has small class sizes. 100-year tradition. Ran by retired U.S. Marine and offers academic, artistic and military education.

Tallulah Falls School: Located in Tallulah Falls and founded in 1909. Near Tallulah Gorge and Tallulah Gorge State Park. Lower tuition rates and students receive a school laptop. Open for grades 6-12 grades.
