Rumsey Hall School, located in Washington, CT, was founded in 1900. It’s a coeducational school that offers both boarding and day programs for grades K-9. The school is situation on 147 acres and holds a total of 32 buildings, including Upper and Lower school buildings.
The athletic program, named Blue Dog Athletics, offers a variety of sports including football, soccer, field hockey, and horseback riding. They also offer a 5-week long Summer Academic and Recreation Enrichment program.
Rumsey Hall School is technologically advanced, offering 100 networked computers throughout the school, as well as a school-wide intranet program.
Each student takes a Computer Skills Class, which focuses on the Microsoft Office Suite program and other software applications. Current tuition ranges from $19,000 for Kindergarten up to $50,000 for boarding students. There are also eight dormitories on campus.
