The Loomis Chaffee School, located in Windsor, Connecticut, was founded in 1874. The coeducational school hosts both boarding and day students grades 9 – 12, and post-graduate students. The small student / faculty ratio of 5:1 attributes to the success of its students.

The 300-acre campus boasts 11 dormitories, 3 Centers for Excellence, and an Art Center.

The athletic program offers many sports, including baseball, basketball, lacrosse and volleyball.

The school’s curriculum is vast, offering traditional high school courses as well as university-level courses.

Student’s study everything from English and Mathematics to Theater and Dance. They also offer a 5-week long Summer Program with curriculum that includes writing, robotics, and the visual arts.

Current tuition for The Loomis Chaffee School ranges from $39,000 for day students up to $51,000 for boarding students. Financial aid is available and was awarded to 34% of the student body for the 2013-14 school year.
