Established in 1850, the Arkansas School for the Deaf is a publicly funded school located in Little Rock, Arkansas and is accredited by AvancED.

ASD is co-educational school and has been recognized as a leading PK-12 institution for Deaf education.

The ASD campus sits on 52 acres of land in the middle of Little Rock and includes buildings for the Elementary, Middle and High schools as well as dormitories for residential students.

Students are offered a variety of extracurricular activities such as football, soccer and basketball and are represented by their mascot, the Leopards.

School admissions applications are handled between the Deaf students local school district and the ASD admissions office.
